Got Me Going Crazy: {One Day At A Time} [40 Part 2/2]

And, oh, of course. She puts on that seductive mask again. Though, I have to notice that she isn't trying nearly as hard. I guess she figures I'm already trapped or something. Hah, as if. So, I'm just going to have to skip a lot of what happens next, because it's not that interesting. All that really happened was getting attacked by fans. Sure, Joe and Veronica have really hit it off, and I think he's pretty happy, but for Addalyn and me, it's been really awkward. She keeps trying to make a conversation, and she always tries to make it sound like we'll be together forever or something. Finally, after the agony I went through trying to stay in a good mood while we ate, we go into the theater. Veronica's on one end, then Joe, me, and then Addalyn.

Figures, Joe dragged us into a scary movie. He probably did it to cuddle with Veronica, but I think he didn't realize that Addalyn was still with us. She was pushing herself up against me and I was pretty much dying. She was wearing way too much perfume, too. Is she not getting my signals that to me this isn't a date? I guess she's oblivious. Or something.

When we finally got out of the theater and were heading back to the car, Addalyn was trying to put my arm around her waist, and I finally broke. Thank the lord the parking lot was empty except for our group. Joe saw that I'd began twitching, and he quickly dragged Veronica back to the car, saying, "You'll thank me later!"

I found myself ranting to Addalyn about how I'd never said this was a date, and that I would've told her if I liked her, blah blah blah. She just stood there, shocked, and a little embarrassed. Maybe I'd gotten to her. But really, she looked like a 16 year old slut, pardon my language. She may well be. How the heck would I know?! Once I was done she just kind of stood there. I silently commended her for staying strong after I lost my head.

Addalyn: So that's it then.
Nick: *deep breath* Yep.
Addalyn: I guess I shouldn't have gotten so over my head in this. I'm really sorry. I hope we can still be friends?
Nick: *smiles slightly* Sure.

We piled into the car, smiling, and surprising Veronica and Joe who looked deep in a conversation. They really did look like an excellent couple. I decided they'd totally last for a while.

Joe: Wow, worked it out already?
Nick/Addalyn: Yep.
Joe: *smiles* Good.

When we dropped Addalyn off, I walked her to the door and gave her a friendly hug. She returned it willingly. Then I got back in the car and we went back to Veronica's house. I listened to my iPod. I claimed I wanted to give them time to talk without worrying about what I would hear, but I ended up turning the sound down really low. Unfortunately, all I could hear was stuff about the movie. Either they were aware I was listening or they really liked the movie!

Joe walked her to the door, and I saw him totally want to kiss her. But a guideline we tend to go on is waiting until the second date.

He kissed her anyways. I hit my forehead, but nonetheless was happy for him when Veronica looked like she was about to faint. She hadn't known he was a Jonas until he told her today, which kind of freaked her out, because apparently she despised everything Disney, but hey, like Mary, you can change really quickly.

Joe got back into the car as I hopped into the passenger seat. He looked extremely happy. I could've ruined it by mentioning Sophia, but I don't think getting beat up was how I wanted to end this day.

I blinked, realizing that the day after tomorrow was the auditions for JONAS. Someone would be my girlfriend, and I don't even know the other parts; I think in one episode someone was going to be a stylist trying to get us to ditch Stella and choose her or something? Then there are some other parts... We're all watching every single audition. I'm gonna know what it feels like to be Simon Cowell! Cool. Joe and I made small talk on our way home, and we went to bed immediately. Dang, yelling can make people really tired!

I'll try to post the other two chapters I've written tonight, and I wanna finish up to chapter 45 by the end of the weekend! but don't trust it.
