Sony NEX-VG10 video test using the Nikon 50mm 1.8 and 10.5mm 2.8 with adapter.

The adapter I used I got from Amazon.com for about $50.00 http://tinyurl.com/2v337mf

first series was the stock Sony 18-200mm: looked pretty good.
Shot 3 times, firs the rainy day, then harsh noon lighting then the evening lighting.

Mini review of the camera after first use:

  • what color temp did you use with the nikon lens?

  • @UFOJeroen

Don't quite remember but I'm guessing 5600 .. the Sony does have a tendency to shoot a little cool at times imho.

  • I'm buying the new NEX-VG20EH. I would like to know what is the brand and model of the adapter you use for Nikon lenses.

  • @jimpongrass

Link to the adapter is in the description..

  • @scssam Exactly - this mustbe my main complaint for Sony against the Canon consumer cameras, the Sonys seldom provide the true color intensity. But if you can adjust it up manually enough = ok.

  • looks like crap. your highlights are clipped!

  • @scssam ok thanks man

  • @HDMotionStudio

Ya thanks I was thinking of the 50 mm 1.8 lens making it a 35MM equivalent, my bad.

  • @TheXboxSux

The sensor is not 35mm but APS HD, which is about 1.5x smaller (23.4x15.6 mm)

  • Mediocre footage and poor 720p. quality. Thank U 4 sharing.
