@Microglia1 In the name of Allah, most gracious most merciful; wow! that was a great saying, very inspiring. I really like your train of though on this subject, stay true, Peace!

@casanova0102 why are you scared? I'm an Atheist and I should be scarer but I'm not. It's people who have no direction in life that tend to cause trouble. If someone saiid they're not going to smoke, drink, or be too involved with sex...the last thing you expect this same person to do is to trigger an explosion. I say let the fishes into the stream and may the divine winds guide them to fertile grounds.

Shit man I'm scared ...

What this man needs is religion - not necessairy Islam. He is simply a seeker, and nothing popped in front of him except Islam so he became obsessed with Islam. sadly.

they are all faar faar bettr muslims thn i or many tht hve bn born muslims...

@Elahez That's a harsh statement. The father loves his son and is afraid that he will move abroad, that has nothing to do with Islam, it's a parent expressing natural concerns. He would feel the same way about the matter whether the son was Christian, Hindu or whatever.

@firecraxker i m sorry but u r the one who's quoting out of context, the girls were singing not playing with a guitar . i m talking about music!!!!! singing is halal unless it's content is inappropriate or associated with music
besides,this happened during eid, so obviously it's not an everyday habit
p.s.i dunno what's the significance of quoting Surat Alkaferoun....you shouldn't accuse someone who claims to be a muslim of being a kafir just because we disagreed on a certain subject

@ahmed2437 Yeah but you have to look at what the Prophet (PBUH) MEANT and not just the words he spoke. Or you take things out of context. When the Lady Aisha saw singing girls Rasulullah asked her if she wanted to watch. When the Lady Aisha sang for him and Abu Bakr came to stop her, the Prophet (PBUH) told him to leave her be. So how can it be haram if our Prophet himself allowed it? But as the Qu'ran says "Let each person believe whatever he or she wishes. 109:1, 6" So Salaam brother :)

@firecraxker ops,my bad :)
ok, ALLAH(SWT) orders you in many verses in the Quran to follow what the prophet tells you e.g.
S 59:7 and whatever the Messenger gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back,
so,you obedience to prophet muhammed (pbuh) is part of obedience to God.
this article states why music is forbidden in islam
