@ebusdk Of Clinton's many foreign interventions, his putting American troops into the Balkans was one of the most egregious. Serbia was not a threat to our national security. His actions fanned Islamic extremism in the area, even going so far as to import Mujahdein from the Middle East - something Richard Holbrooke called "a pact with the devil." The Balkans remain seething with hatred against us. Bush and Obama have continued Clinton's interventionalism - and it is bankrupting the U.S.

the people who really care about their country and its people, will give away the information people need; not sell book after book that doesn't promote the actions that are sorely needed. The Dick Morris's of the world are not going to save you or inform you or help you to be more effective. They are going to in every case, make money off of you by selling you a book you won't learn a practical thing from, even when the opportunity for economic survival is shrinking by the minute.

I am only frustrated because there is so much that people need to know so they won't need to take anyone's word for anything, and yet, that little bit of information is the very thing they are not being told. I do all my own research on every issue but then I must contend with those who know nothing, but have all the opinions and those who have books to sell that increases people's knowledge and personal power not one whit.

@mrtoady2 CONT...the point I'm trying to make is this: people like Morris keep writing books that go on and on about the scum that runs the govt. But no action ever gets underway. People are suffering from an information overload. And yet, the really important information seems never to be included; the most important 5% is never in any book. People need to KNOW THIS. What ever they need to know is in the congressional record found in any library. We should know what we need to know.
