  • The recording was made with Domingo, Ghiaurov and Freni! Such an incredible power! Love that interpretaion! His voice is perfectly balanced, great expression, gentile and such a hot timbre and a brilliant technique!!! Just Brilliant! If you ask me - well Sir Thomas Allen IS the perfect Valentin for all the times! And not only...you should hear his Count in "Le Nozze"...

  • @MladenovAtanas Indeed. If Allen is a perfect Valentin, he is also the perfect Count Almaviva in my opinion.

  • @schweitzer006325 @mladenovatanas he may just be the perfect Baritone.

  • @brosseau I would second that opinion entirely.

  • Enfin un baryton qui daigne ne pas prendre cet air pour un pretexte a trompetter a pleins poumons en permanence.

    Bravo.

  • Je suis d'accord avec toi. =)

  • Lovely. Allen has a substantial lyric baritone with a dramatic edge, which gives much pleasure within his fach. Allen has never ventured far beyond that fach, which is why he still sings superbly today:)--

  • Another video that confirms me that Thomas Allen has the most beautiful baritone I have ever heard...

  • I tried to find this and got rickrolled to Keenlyside. This more than makes up for it.

  • it's guys like these that make you show your baritone pride!

  • Unbelievably the BEST baritone!! Thank you for your great talent, heart, heroic spirit developed and shared! WOW, WOW, WOW is all I can say!!

  • Supreme authority, in all his performances...

  • Magnifique! Chante parfaitement le français. Une diction impeccable. C'est pour moi une découverte. Une voix ensoleillée. Bravo!

  • Entendre un français aussi impeccable chez un Anglais, voilà qui est bien rare ! Ajouté à cela une justesse fort appréciable, et une belle vaillance. Bravo maestro !

  • WEEPING!

  • @peduzzi89 AMEN.

  • *kisses fingers* he is just one of those singers where everything is just right

  • @stevevandien That is so true....there is soooo much pressure for singers to always go one step more dramatic and it can ruin voices.
