What a difference 26 years makes in a denomination! From old-fashioned convention singing and shouting to "break dance" teams and Beetles music! How far will this movement go into the gutter?....There seems to be no end to their backslidding!

It grieves my spirit to see how much the Church of God, Assemblies, and PH church have changed... They no longer hold on to standards of holiness, and they truly have lost the anointing. When you see the older video clips with "Oh Happy Day" there is just such a Spirit that is not in all this contemporary junk.

I am in an independent Pentecostal Holiness Church that still preaches holiness and still has the anointing, and let me tell you, I love the Lord like nothin else!

@notasulga01 I have absolutely NO HATE towards "GOD'S CHURCH". However, I have no love for man-made organizations who have been all over the map with regards to it's standards and its doctrines. I have no love for the things I gave up after I found Christ! No love for dark rooms filled with smoke machines and rock-n-roll...No love for flesh on parade....no love for the sippin' and slippin' that goes on in and out of the pulpit regardless of the denomination!!

@holinesspentecostal Reading all your comments about the COG it sounds like you have a lot of hate toward the church, maybe you should get that out of your heart before you stand before God.

@cowgirl4031 Don't own a T.V. No, the devil did not create music, but he sure did PERVERT IT! The music in most COG and other pentecostal churches today bears more resembleance to what was played in the high places and the groves of pagan deities than the pleasant melodies which were played by the psalmist.

@holinesspentecostal Do u watch t.v.? If u do, u need to shut up and stop judging! We live in the world everyday! We work in it and put up w/it! The devil didn't & can't invent music! God anointed him w/that gift, so blame it on God!

@scooterbugs25 Scooterbugs....This was a good response to the onegodpreacherman. Backslidding has always been a matter of the heart. If water baptism and formulas could prevent it, then the UPCI and the Church of Christ would be glaring examples of pure Heaven on Earth. We all know the truth of the matter!

The church has changed from when the fire came upon those in the upper room until now. The fire has gone out and has been replaced with fleshly entertainment. No wonder we have the mess we have in this country.
