Robinson County

This fiddle tune is a variation of a tune called New Five Cent Piece. It's called Robinson County, and Tricia Spencer of Lawrence, Kan., saws away on it, as does her friend (whose name I will add), also of Lawrence. Recorded on Saturday, Sept. 17, during a break in the stormy weather at Winnfield, Kan., during the 40th Annual Walnut Valley Festival. That's Dianne Sewell's off camera uke banjo playing.
