Wait a sec, I thought the VE Commodores use GM drive trains which they're all from the US? Do Holden really produce engines from scratch in Aus?HSV get engines from GM which is smart and cost effectively.

Dude i got nothing against the Holden V8, i've owned both that & chev in the past.
I'm waiting now for HSV to come up with a response to the FPV Typhoon.
The Typhoon is TOTALLY made here. FPV GT's and Xr8's are yank V8's & Typhoon Outperforms them both.
The VE Clubby & GTS are marginally ahead of the Typhoon but with the huge 6 Litre Chev (I like how they sound by the way)
Hope HSV come up with a locally made Turbo(maybe Torana) to start an AUSSIE rivalry !

Nice run , good thing it's A corvette LS engine from USA, if it was an Aussie holden V8 engine, then we're looking at 15's !!
