Run the same game at stock cpu speed, bet you dont get more than a half to 1fps increase.
Most games are gpu dependant. All you are doing is shortening your cpu lifespan.

@stussyboys that cpu is black edition .. black edition = that cpu is builded to burn the shit out of him at a duplicate of fuking 32x .. as THE ABOMINATION the world record at overclocking 7ghz .. but you need to cool it out to do that .. for 4ghz you dont need anythink .. the fan will do it at a coffe-maker speed .

@john0995q with the M4A77TD motherboard I just move the multiplier to 20X and the motherboard do the rest.
set up HAF black edition case, ZALMAN 9700C blue led heat sink, 4 GB RAM, ASUS 6950 1GB GDDR 5, 1000W power supply. from ZION, 2X 250 GB HDD on raid 0.
I upgrade to phenom ll X6 1090t with this I need to increase the FSB to 230, and the multiplier to 19X and the voltage to 1.5.

got such a good overclock cause u got ddr2... its harder to overclock the 965 with DDR3

I have mine to 4 GHZ, in full load I get 55 C idle 33 C

I'm thinking about a cooler for my amd 965 and if I get a good air cooler for about 50 dollars should I be able to overclock to 4.2 no problem?

Right, the CPU is still running at the same speed since this video was posted so the old "to much voltage shortens the lifespan" argument is useless to even mention, instead of trying to guess the outcome how about learning how to overclock and do it on 1 CPU for 2-3 years! Then show me some results. Been doing this for 12 years since the old AMD Athlon Tbird 1000!
