I just can't read those idiots that say that she had "stockholm syndrome" just because she understood that her kidnapper wasn't just a "bad guy" with no other characteristics or past, like most people would like to think. I like to think that some day our society will become mature enough to really research this situations, and try to find out what has to be done to prevent / minimise them in the future, rather than just locking away/killing the bad guy like we're doing now.

Obwohl sie sehr stark ist, wirkt sie in diesem Interview sehr schwach und gebrochen. Ich denke, das war die Zeit, als sie anfing zu realisieren, was sie erlebt hatte, dass alles sehr schwer und anders ist, als das, was sie gewohnt war als Kind. Nach der Flucht war sie in sich gekehrt, aber froh, hier ist sie gebrochen, schwach, beinahe weinerlich und verstört. Und jetzt ist sie wieder selbstbewusst und stark... :) ich find das super.
