~2,019km, about 32 hours of driving, sped up to around 40,000 km/h average speed.

The trip started with the inland route via the Hume/Newell Highway, cutting across to the coastal route after Parkes via the Oxley Highway, then up to Brisbane via the Pacific Highway.

The main trip camera failed at the start so I had to use a backup ChaseCam for the driving footage. sigh...

  • I like the way you sync music to vid Im also going to Melb from Brisbane. I wish I knew how much my car is gonna handle it and how much fuel ill need. I dont wanna be caught on inland road without no fuel scared .... ((((::::

  • @chrisabrahams7 Just do the usual checks and if your car is in decent shape, it should be fine. There are no extremes so it should be easy. Just fill up at every other station you come across and you won't run out. :)

  • nice vid! I'm doing the melbourne to brisbane (and back) two days from now.

  • @daleo79 Thanks! It's quite an enjoyable drive ... if there's no traffic anyway. The inland route was a breeze but the Pacific Highway was a chore. I cut across to the coastal route halfway just to see what it was like.

  • Great vid and interesting see you stoped over at Parks think I will do the same as I planning this trip the other way Bris to Melb but will take the Newell all the way.

  • @heymargaretlook I'd definitely recommend the Newell over the coastal route. The traffic there was pretty annoying.

  • such low views for such a great video....

  • @AlexJ66 thanks! It was an enjoyable drive - except for the M1 which was full of traffic. The trip would have been much quicker if i just took the inland route the whole way, but since I had some time I decided to take a longer route and drop by some of the towns in between.

  • Excellent video wiredaus, well put together and the music matches it perfectly. Trying to plan a trip the other way, so was interesting to see which way you went.

  • @ozzyguy67 thanks.. it was meant to be a DOD GS600 "1080p" camera, but there was a problem with it so I ended up using my old ChaseCam PDR100GF - chasecam.com/packages/Kit-RK1

All the footage took up 83GB...
