nice video...if you like animals - it's great to stop pit bull fighting but you know how many animals are killed in pit bull fighting compared to those who are killed for MacDonalds, KFC, TacoBells etc. If you love animals, please stop eating them.

I've always thought how ignorant we are to think that we have any more knowledge or reason to exist than the creatures of this earth.

Wow, you obviously don't understand what he teaches then. Or what the Buddha teaches.

Very nice! I love how he can say so little, but portray so much. I love pit bulls.

This was beautiful and so touching thank you for sharing it!
Simple thanks is less than adequate for this video, and especially to his Holyness, the Dali Lama, It is all in their eyes if one wants to see.
I tender my profound thanks and Prayers that this and all other such mesages will be heard and heeded by anyone that thinks they are better than animals. Peca e be with you and the animals. Cerberus2233

Cerberus,
It's amazing how the Dalai Lama can use few words, yet say so much.
Thank you for watching.

Beautiful video! The Dalai Lama has a message that everyone should hear, buddhists and non-buddhist alike. Love is love, whether it is towards a human, a bird, a dog or an insect. In Buddhism, we call it metta. It is an unconditional love for all living beings, equally given to all creatures. Even the Michael Vicks! It is a very challenging lifetime practice. You expressed that message very well in your video! Much metta to you.

I know very little about Buddhism. But what I do know, I can really appreciate.
I didn't know about "metta."
Much metta to you and all animals.
