We Are Bread for the World

Meet Bread for the World and be inspired by our members' passion and effectiveness.

Bread for the World (www.bread.org) is a collective Christian voice urging our nation's decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad. Bread for the World members write letters, send personal emails, make phone calls, and visit with their members of Congress—all urging support of legislation that helps hungry and poor people. This video shows some of success stories and invites viewers to become involved in our work.

Bread for the World works in a bipartisan way and enjoys the support of many different church bodies. Bread for the World collaborates with other organizations to build the political commitment needed to overcome hunger and poverty. For example, Bread for the World is a founding partner in Bono's ONE Campaign.
