  • To call Carmen Basilio a punching bag is a disgrace. This is one of the true ironman of the sport with a great sense of humor and terrific character. Ignorance is no excuse, the comment is ridicules.

  • A REAL FIGHTER...unlike PBF!!!

  • For me Ribinson, Basilio, La Motta, Joe Luis, Marciano and many others boxers that even never won a world tile at that time were really warriors!! Real legends of the sport!!

  • this guy beat the great sugar ray robinson.

  • Most of the brain damaga a fighter gets isn't when he has a match... they get the brain beat up in the gym. 16 oz mitts, headgear, etc. and maybe spar anywhere from 4 to 15 rounds a workout... the brain damage is cumulative, over time. Kid Peret was sudden, though (1960)

  • @marcxopoco Could be. I keep forgetting. They have so many names for head diseases these days. Second time I met him it was like 'Nobody home' 1984. I mean the guy was in a 'cloud' 2 big body guards with him, scary guys. Oxymoron: HW ch of the world needs bodyguards. Kind of funny, in a way

  • @skaha77

    I thought it was PARKINSONS.

    LOL

  • @marcxopoco Ali has Alzheimers. How many times was Ali knocked off his feet? (obtw you forgot to mention Archie Moore hit hima good one too) No false ali pr, I met him tiwce, and once when he was training for Chuvalo in my old club in Vancouver. Yeah, kid.. I am old

  • @QawiBraxton81 Internet tough guys, know it alls, and trolls. They swim together. Don't feed them

  • @marcxopoco I said he didn't get hit very much. Learn to read with your brain rather than your ego. COOPER was one of the most under rated fighters EVER. so . Ali is not, and never was one of my heros.

Fighters get hit... d'uhh. The most underrated fighter ever imo = Billy Conn. Cooper had just one bad weakness, he cut easily. Not go outside and play with the rest of the kids

  • @skaha77 How did Henry Cooper knock Ali down less than a full round before Ali's two fakes with Liston?

Did Henry Cooper put a banana peel under your hero's foot?

Or did he hit your hero with a single left hook?

How did Cooper bloody Ali's nose 15 seconds into their fight?

How did overweight lightheavyweight Doug Jones stagger Ali badly 30 seconds into their fight?

skaha swallows the news media's false Ali PR and regurgitates it back out onto youtube.

  • @inbredagogo Amazing guy. He had great hands, was very smart, hit hard, and only weakness is he'd cut if hit over the eye. Averge street thug today would end up face first on the concrete if they tried to jump him... even at 83, I guarantee he can still hit. Funny guy, too
