15,000 Watt Car amp..Rockford Fosgate T15k Hybrid Technology

some people just dont understand how this amp works. It is VERY powerful....16,000 watts RMS and also SUPER clean, one of the cleanest car amps EVER made. The engineer Tony D from Rockford explains how it works. Also a little clip of the "wall of subs" added to the end. We are currently putting 2 of these in my buddys Escalade and there are tons of vids showing the progress of that project.

@SteveFrench306 depends on what you are looking for. Its expensive because only 18 exist and this is technology that nobody else has. Its probably the CLEANEST SQ amp EVER MADE. If you want 17,000 watts RMS @ 12v and super clean sound you get this. If you want 14k @ 18v and you dont give a shit about sound quality, you get the other amp. Nothing wrong with the Stetsom but the T15k is superior on music.....and imagine that, an amp being used for MUSIC. lol :)

im not about to diss this. its an engineering feat. but besides advertising for this company at car shows, whats the point for this many watts in a car?

@meade916 haha yeah but not everyone has that much to blow on an amp like you :P, and yeah my stetsom drains way too much power from my car i have a 200amp alt and 2 3100 xs power batts and i still drop to 13v sometimes

from what i understood if i did this amp has or acts kind of like a capacitor and has a built in system that keeps amp charge it must have a sensor that recharges it when is loosing power did i get that right lol...... i got to say Mr Meade i like your work and am not kissing ass credit to the ones that deserve it that's all really neat work Sir.

@LexBravary I'm thinking how it is possible for an american to go crazy over some PA amplifier built into a box with a big converter strapped to it. We Europeans build this shit ourselves if we want to. But hey, why would we want to have 15k Watts of power in a car? That's just crazy... So we don't build shit like this.
