@zetanbow16 I agree... and also (hope not to be flamed after what im goint to write) taht Metallica fired Mustaine that was good for metalheads, it make metallica worke great and make Megadeth to appear... and this hate for Metallica fueled Mustaine's records ....

Depends on which metal you're talking about - most I've heard doesn't really have much to do with classical music, especially if you exclude 20th century avantgarde stuff.

If you're talking about covering or alluding to classical music in metal, sure, but the same can be done in the softrock style, techno, salsa, etc.

It's still lots of pentatonics, fifths, chromatics, octaves and familiar melody and rhythm patterns, after all ;)
