"I'm Late-I'm Late" Focus 3rd movt. by Eddie Sauter, conducted by Jack Elliot with Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra-1999. Ray Pizzi Sax Soloist.
The piece was composed for Stan Getz, 1961 in the midst of the third stream movement that intergrated jazz and classical music.
...A music history factoid...Stan Getz also studied Bassoon with Simon Kovar.
The orchestral piece, mostly improvised for Tenor Sax, contains interesting features as bi-tonal scales and complex time signatures.
