    Besides having one of the most beautiful male voices ever, Gentleman Jim resists the temptation to add ruffles and flourishes to his songs and simply sings them as written. I wish the modern "urban yodelers" would take a lesson. This kind of singing is timeless. What a tragedy on July 31, 1964 when his voice was stilled.
