  • Great videos Pete, i have followed this guide , im getting logged on etc, but towards the end when uploading to wds server.99%." the specified network name is no longer available".. this hangs my server. please help.

    please help

  • @pete: you are great i fully understand this, and you can't get this on School, Pete thanks for the video,, god bless and your family..

  • @beaverbloke your actual primary partition Letter C: but since windows 7 have a SYSTEM RECOVERY when you run sysprep your SYSTEM DRIVE mark as Letter D: \your windows 7 files. then save it on D: naming your windows 7 prep.

  • u da man...

  • Hi Pete. I notice that at the start of your video, before you run Sysprep you only have a "C" drive and a "D" CD. Yet when you come to take your image you have a "C" drive a "D" drive and a "E" CD as well. I don't get this, I only have a "C" drive and a "X" drive and "C" is the only option for capture. Where did your extra drive come from?

  • Hi Pete. I am using Vmware enviroment and I have followed your instructions and when I choose the partition instead of seeing D I see only C. I noticed X drive is label Boot. Hmm I think the way i partitioned/formatted is why I'm not seein the same thing. Your videos are great and thanks for explaining stuff well. I noticed on my DHCP server (a diff server than WDS) I do not have any option 66/67. Instead I created only 60PXE and it bootes fine. Not sure why I would need 66/67 hmm weird.

  • This worked for one machine, a desktop. But, the second machine, a laptop, gets to the point where I try to connect to my server in order to select the image group to store the image in. At that point, when I put in the IP address, it acts as if it can't reach the IP. Like I said, the other machine I tried worked just fine...

    Any ideas??

  • hi,

the volume to capture came up blank ,there is nothing i can select ?! any idea ?
