Couple questions... the air that you hear before the valve opens... is that leaking past the ball? or is that just the system air? Did you do anything to better the seal between the ball bearing and the barbed fitting, or is it just sitting in there?
I don't know why someone would build something like this and NOT test to see how well it actually worked. Imagine dropping it in with a strong spring and hitting 40psi on your first boosting...

why is everyone hooking these up backwards you are creating a boost leak hook it up in line to stop the boost from going to your waste gate
