The signs of a heart attack may not be what you've seen in the movies. Cardiologist Dr. Tom Sears describes some of the more subtle symptoms and how best to react to them. Common symptoms are chest pain or discomfort, difficulty breathing, sweating and an overall feeling of doom. Someone believing they are having a heart attack should not drive themselves to the hospital. For more information about heart attacks, heart disease and prevention, visit http://www.nebraskamed.com/heart or call 1-800-922-0000.
