Got a wife and kids in baltimore jack
I went out for a ride and I never went back
Like a river that dont know where its flowing
I took a wrong turn and I just kept going

Everybodys got a hungry heart
Everybodys got a hungry heart
Lay down your money and you play your part
Everybodys got a hungry heart

I met her in a kingstown bar
We fell in love I knew it had to end
We took what we had and we ripped it apart
Now here I am down in kingstone again

Everybodys got a hungry heart...

Everybody needs a place to rest
Everybody wants to have a home
Dont make no difference what nobody says
Aint nobody like to be alone

Everybodys got a hungry heart...

  • My neighbour loves this song....

Everytime I play it he starts banging on the walls. The louder I play it, the more he gets excited. and bangs louder...

  • I met a Jack once. Tricked me into a tree, wouldn't even share his whiskey. We meet up every twenty centuries or so, just to shoot the shit. Lousy cheapskate always makes me pay, but I don't mind. Even bad company is still company, and even I can be good influence if it gets bad enough. And hey, old Jack never sank so low. Maybe this planet's got a shot after all.

  • this reminds me of when i met my girl jenny ;) love that girl

  • @gma1507 lol. This songs great for anything. The other day i quit my job becuase my boss is an arsehole. But instead of getting all tempremental and arguing with the boss, i just picked up my things from work when no one else was around, and just walked out the door without even leaving my 2 weeks notice. Just a complete dissapearing act. And this song accompanied me on my walk from work, to the train ride home. Wind blowing my hair, sun in my face & exchanging glances with the girls walking by.

  • Heard this from the movie "perfect storm" during the bar scene. brought me here

  • Can't help but sing along to this vibrant and lively tune... May well be my epitaph, lol

  • One of those songs you listen to on a bad day. You can play it, go for a long walk and pretend your going somewhere. and with very tinkle of the organ, your troubles drift away. Or a great song to listen to when your ending a chapter in your life and starting a new one

  • When I hear that song, I am 18 all over again. It is and will always be my favorite Bruce Springsteen's song. It is as catchy as it was in 1980.

  • 12 people took a wrong turn and kept going

  • The song makes me want to think about summertime.

  • @vampiretteful my sentiments exactly xD

  • I first heard this song in The Wedding Singer.
