BWired Invitational Championship 2011

BWired held it's first Golf Tournament at Copperleaf on the 7th and 8th of November 2011 at the Els Club at Copperleaf. The BWired Invitational Championship 2011 marked the first of an annual series of golf tournaments to be held by BWired in it's efforts to connect people within its business community in and around the Johannesburg Bradband Network Project being built for the City of Johannesburg.

Congratulations to Mavela Dlamini, former City Manager of the City of Johannesburg on a great 3rd and final round of golf to win the weekend for 2 away to Leopard Creek. Congratulations to Derek Nareen on coming in 2nd, and to Derek Reynecke on coming in 3rd.

The day was a great success and has positioned itself as one of the most highly anticipated and sought after golfing invitationals in South Africa!

We look forward to hosting the BWired Invitational Championship 2012 next year.
