@slagbigguy Boyce wants to focus on discrimination and race, but without it he has no platform, the reality is that the dour American groups with highest education level are asian americans, jewish americans, indian americans, and 1st generation african americans from africa, all came from poor minority discriminatory backgrounds but they achieve because of culture and family. That is what Cosby is talking about.

As a black male,married to a mexican woman with one child,I have no problem with what mr.cosby said.Spend a 100 dollars on shoes,but how much on books?there is no excuse anymore,not even because of an african-american president.I appreciate what my ancestors went thru for me to be able to be educated and I pass that on to my kids.

the analogy btw cosby having a moral authority to criticize poor blacks is like bush having moral authority poor whites bc they both give money to their universities is weak, because cosby was a poor black and bush was not, cosby knows tha it is off of the foundation of culture and family which can not be legislated or paid for in government subsidies that he is where he is today, and that without that culture and family he would of never made it out of the public housing
