My Flashed/ Debranded W580i, with Flash Menus!

I just recently built up the courage to flash/debrand my SE W580i Red. I flashed it the first time after watching a youtube video. I turned on the phone, and the screen was all messed up. So i searched for another instructional video with different flashing files, and it worked like i had hoped! This phone is free from restrictions! how would i know if my w580i is already unbranded or branded?? plz reply???

because i dont know if my phone is already unbranded.....

If you bought your phone from at&t, t-mobile, etc - it is branded, if you bought your phone from sony ericsson-it is not branded. you still would have to flash your phone to get the flash themes to work on your phone. My brother has a sony ericsson that is unbranded but not flashed, and the themes wouldn' work on his.

text for free, no.....but i do have free wifi on my phone using bluetooth

yes! i wouldn't have modded my phone if there were features i couldn't use anymore after doing so. check out my newest vid.

@redstar749 SORRY NOOB QUESTION here.. So.. if i got my phone from AT&T its already branded right? therefore i dont have to debrand it? i just have to install flash and add somes themes?

I just debraned my w580i today! It had overlapping menus, and the resolution messed up..but i went into menu/settings/general/update software or search or something like that..and in about 8 min later it started up with a nice SE logo and everything!

But where did you get your themes??

I only have the basic 4

You'll need the original Firmware. Which also means it needs to be debranded
