Loram Railgrinder at Mohawk Yard

we pulled into mohawk yard on 2/1/08 and this is what greeted us! I talked to one of the crew and he said they were leaving at 6:30am the next day to grind their way up to Canada. Before we left though, the same crew member gave me the grand tour. I got to go intside both of it'd cabs and the crew quarters. I got to see the 4 cummings 900 HP diesel engines and the big 1100 HP Cat. he even started the cat up with me right next to it!!! The cab was amazing. well over 50 buttons just for the grinders. 3 screens for grinder and engine controls. This railgrinder was made in 1988
