This happend across the street from us during the begining of an ice storm that is hitting our town now as I type. There are tree branches and powerlines snapping like twigs all over the city. Power outages are expected and at least an inch of ice by morning.

We were cracking up at the reaction My wife and I had that you can hear. We were on the phone when this was going down.

  • This all proves that Tesla's "alternating current" is bad and we should all return to Edison's direct current. XD

  • Very true indeed....

  • thsi happened back in like 2005-2006 during a bad storm where I live, a tree in my front yard came down on the power lines, twisted one pole causing the one with the transformer to coem down arch and catch fire, including the tree, and it was raining at the same time lol

  • December 10, 2007 is the date my friend, unless of course you're talking about another experience that you had.

  • I work for Davey Tree, we were sent from North Carolina to Oklahoma to help with the cleanup effort. Some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life while we were there. Thanks to everyone for their support, our job is pretty dangerous, and to have people appreciate what we do, that was great.

  • You guys are great!! Thanks for the needed assistance.
