Patti's voice is definitely a phenomenon that can't be explained. It's like something from another planet. Her signature style and mannerisms will never be surpassed or duplicated. It makes me angry and sad that she never reached the commercial success of much less talented artists. This is when Patti's voice was at its most powerful. Her vocal belts aren't as strong today and they are more sharp and nasal. But she is and always will be one of my favorite singers. And that background is bad too.

I have always skipped over this song on the lil played out cassette that I had back in the day of this song, but she does a much better job here!! I love this performan and it's underated!! Thanks for posting!!
