    Yeah, Mick could get that wicked hot wax poured on a tomcat guitar tone, and that killed, but what an incredible arranger all around.

  • Thanks for the post. I bought Transformer when I was 13; in the space of one year I got all the other Lou Reed albums available at the time (the latest was Coney Island Baby). It's a classic, but - in truth - from 1972 to 1976 every Lou Reed album, on RCA, is a classic, and he made 2 a year!
