Booting off of Ghost 14 CD to backup disk image to net drive, flash drive or external hard drive.

Restoring the disk is just as simple unless you want to restore from a network disk because you need to find the network adapter driver. Will have a video on that later.

  • @bleduc65 Could be that they removed that past from Norton Ghost. The Ghost version he is using is 8.2, released in 2004. Things gets added and removed all the time from many different softwares, and seems like the tools folder were the victim in Ghost.

  • can you use 1 image for any other computer? with different motherboard?

  • This is ghost version 8.2 NOT version 14... my advice download an earlier version of Ghost to run in DOS.

    i have a cd that links to the file on me d:\ that restores my c:\

    i want to make such cd for someone who isnt that handy with pc's

  • same here there is no tools folder.

  • i got v14 and v15 but there is no Tools folder. I was able to find Ghost32.exe from somewhere and i just added it onto the disc.
