Is any war against evil ever "popular" with a large majority of the population?
Was World War II "popular"?
The posters of the era suggest otherwise... the posters of WWII suggest that people are people, in all times and places; some are good, some are bad, some are indifferent. (Otherwise, why the need for the posters and their rallying messages in the first place..?)
The more things change, the more they stay the same... today, as always, some people want to help bring about change for the better, some don't, and many don't care one way or the other.
God Bless those who care, who sacrifice of themselves to help bring our freedom and values to the Iraqi people.
Godspeed to those few, then as today, who don't need rallying to believe in the need to fight evil.
