  • I don't see why it would be wrong to say we participate in the creation which is an accurate translation of the being of God in the language of time space and matter. If creation is contingent then it seems wrong to say all its parts exist distinctly and necessarily in the mind of God before creation. If this were true it would be almost like arguing that the universe can exist without a creator. It would be like arguing for a cosmic plenum. As these things must be untrue God must be simple.
