OH MY GLOB! IT'S AMAZING! The way how you connect yourself with the music!

@luvemliam Asshat... Stuart can play this in any key he likes. Highbrow pish about the wrong key is nonsense. Play it this well in the key of your choice, then film it, then uplolad it. Ta ;)

@TheMunich123 It's not actually, check out the sheet music for ABRSM Jazz Grade 3. This part is exactly as it's written in the head.

hardly anyone plays this in the key it was written in, most like this guy choose an easier key...

I've never understood why people think playing in different keys is so difficult, it's just playing notes. It's the the rhythm that is difficult. Playing in different keys is something beginners to intermediate struggle with. Not at this level.

@sniper22b Interesting you would say that when most of your videos show you playing in the key of C or F. Ive been playing for many years and would still rather play in something in a C versus playing it in the key of A flat. Even at your "level" there are easier keys than others to reach.

I agree, and when doing totally 100% first take improvisation with 0 practice time such as all of the videos you see on youtube.Clearly it's goin to be easier to play a Boogie in C rather than B major! Apart from anything the history of funk or boogie/blues etc. (not Jazz obviously!) is mostly written in the keys you have just mentioned - at any level. My main point was people sometimes overlook the main challange, the rhythm and feel and worry too much about what key your in.
