"DOT" in Reserve Equus Training Corps :)9 24 10

Equus: "Dot"- 2 yr old Leopard Appaloosa Mare
I didn't realized the straps of Jewel's old mesh turnout sheet were hooked up to the gate-needless to say I had to stop and unhook them so we both could go thru- I had confidence in Dot that she was going to be fine and in fact that minor delay was not a problem for Dot.- She just stood still and waited patiently for me to do what I had to do.-Dot is a explorer and loves to do new things so we often go on expeditions around the property, always ensuring her safety and mine. She had just finished riding with her trainer and as we were walking back to the tie racks I decided to go thru the tack room instead which is also where I trained them long time ago to load up on a trailer. (notice the ramp at the entrance).
FYI: Dot was rescued from the kill buyers at the Sugar Creek auction by Pure Thoughts Horse and Foal Rescue just few months old.- Same with Star and Abby.
I am forever thankful to Pure Thought Horse and Foal Rescue for their hard work and their cause. I wouldn't have such amazing horses if they wouldn't have rescued them from that horrible and cruel situation.-
