Nokia N95 Display Problem

So i will take it from the beginning.

One day the display just went black so i went out to buy i new one.
I found a new display, installed it and turned ON the phone.
But this display just lights up, but nothing happens. everything works fine on the phone

I tried the soft reset etc etc and trying to restore it from the computer but nothing is to any help!
What can i do?

@knukleheadmikspaz You need a Flex Ribbon Cable, the bit that connects the bottom half to the top half of the phone, this includes the vga camera on the front. You can find them on Ebay for around 8 quid. THe Orange cable you have is just the LCD Screen cable.

I bought a new screen that came with an orange thing, is that the flex cable? either way the white screen is still happening :( pleaseeee help

@montyladd i have to get it fixed, but i don't have any time. the metallic stuff cost's about 15-25 $. it's not too much. and thats it :)

i have the same problem. reason is under the screen some magnetic stuff. i was a fool buying a new screen.
