Squirrel eating a nut at UCLA

I saw this squirrel outside in the courtyard between Boelter hall and Math Sciences on the third floor.

It was working hard to crack open a nut and it made a very peculiar sound. So, I decided to record it.

I tried to slowly move closer but it was difficult to keep the camera steady due to it being zoomed in so much.

After looking closer it seems the squirrel was pregnant.

She was very large and you could see her belly is quite big.

I am unsure about this, it could just be a squirrel with a good appetite!
