To the people that don't get it:

1) I would recommend watching Time of Eve. Ask me for links, GREAT movie, chosen for NY Children's Film Fest.

2) Guy is sad because he broke up with his gf over trivial things...he hints to waitress that they could date...but she shows him the aqaurium room that basically gives him words of encouragement. He comes back in the cafe and the waitress says she can't date him bc she's a robot, and she has an obligation to protect him under the 1st Robotic Law.

For everyone who didnt get it: (stop reading - spoilers) 1st: the strong words stays after being spoken - in every way you can think of. 2nd: The guy is sad cuz the quarrel with girlfriend over trivial things. He thinks his relationship with girlfriend is completly broken, then he suggests he could go out with waitress-shes a robot so it would harm him. The only way to solve this is to persuade him that quarrel over trivial things wont brake the relationship with gf.(weak words will disappear)

Yeah.. if you watched the anime "Time of Eve" (Which is 2 hours total..)

this would make COMPLETE sense.

Watch it again, everything's related to him. they are trying to convay something to him without actually saying it i guess u could say?

lol, your kinda right there. this was the first film of note by the director Yasuhiro Yoshiura, who went on to create, write and direct pale cocoon and, you guessed it EVE no jikan.

if you know of the director makoto shinkai then this work would be the equivalent of "she and her cat" in that it drew attention and opened up doors to larger and more complicated works

as for a sequel. i believe we may see it "but thats another story" and "season 1 complete" give me a hunch at least
