Here's a home movie taken by my father (Thomas Kearney) in the center of North Attleboro MA on Memorial Day of a parade back in 1960 or 1961. Click on "watch in High Quality" for better resolution picture.

  • while searching the 2009 santa parade in north attleboro i discovered this video. i told my wife to take a look at it with me and when the 8 girl color guard came marching by my wife says "hey that's me!!".....LOL she is the 3rd. girl from the left carrying the rifle, she was 15-1/2 years old!!! needless to say we were both very surprised!!

  • Wow! Then did she know my sister Marilyn Kearney (Burke)?

  • @Thirtycoup Yes it was!

  • A good video from back when our country was great--when people didn't rely on the government and ask for special treatment. Join the Ron Paul Liberty Movement and restore the republic.

  • LOL everyone gets one minute of fame!

  • Would this be on Washington St.?

  • The parade was likely May 31, 1958 with that beautiful Edsel police car and the 1957? ambulance.

  • North Attleboro looks NOTHING like this anymore. Too bad...

  • lol that's funny. Doesn't look like that anymore
