I bought a Blichman Beer Gun. For me it is more of a hassle than filling from the tap with a sanitized tube that goes to the bottom of the bottle. I used to think that purging the bottle with CO2 was a big advantage, but when you fill a bottle with beer, the foam pushes enough oxygen out and really doesn't any noticeable difference. Actually the difference is the headache of setting up the beer gun and thoroughly cleaning it. It is kind of a cool gadget, but I wish I saved my money.

Is there a big difference between using the beer gun and just filling the bottle straight from the tap?
I put a length of tubing on the end of my pony tap and fill my bottles that way.
