Part 6 of 8. Police interview Casey Anthony about the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. These interviews occurred not long after the child was reported missing. Casey told police she worked at Universal Studios and took them there to seek evidence. Once they got there, after parading through corriders and so forth Casey finally admitted that she hadn't worked there for a while. In fact, she had been fired in 2006 yet was still pretending to work there - to everyone, including her family. Police took her into a conference room at Universal to conduct this interview. It would be the last one they would get as Casey soon had a lawyer and would talk no more.

  • Casey says that Universal would be a familiar place to Caylee... But she hasnt worked there since 2006 - - Caylee's "memories" of Universal, if they were, would have had to be made when she was an infant?!?! Really?!?

  • 4:25 notice her priorities?

  • I would love to introduce her to Joran Van Der Sloot.

  • The detectives did the best they could. They know she's 100% guilty. C'mon, any "loving parent" couldn't even Imagine not reporting their child missing immediately! On this interview all by it's self, murdered her 2 year old. I can't believe they found the Jury they did. They came to the conclusion ,we're going to give her unreasonable doubt. Caseys a murderer, the jurors let her walk and " they've proven, all of them are idiots and forever will have little Caylees blood on their hands~

  • I actually wish there had been this Nanny person she's describing.......she'd be alive....and Casey was right when she lied and said she took her to teach her a lesson because she was a bad Mother....talk about an understatement!!!! Bad Mother is the "ONLY" statement she made that was actually true!

  • Casey: "Their schedules were completely opposite of mine." SHE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A JOB!- for years! OMG! And the cops are still saying "this nanny, this nanny' crap

  • I know that and I believe that, I see the tears in your eyes, he said. OMG! She's crying out of fear because they're onto her.

  • lmao these cops are the best!! its not a laughing matter but this is way to crazy the way she is lying like this and its never ending. she MUST have some type of mental illness

  • @br5060- and Casey got off b/c a number of reasons: it was a difficult motive to prove, there was little direct, physical evidence linking her to the crime, and a lack of witnesses implicating her. Although that I think the overwhelming amount of circumstantial evidence should have been enough for a conviction, obviously the jury felt differently. It's frustrating having her walk free, but don't throw the detectives under the bus here. There are other reasons why she walked.

  • @br5060 - and since my brother is a prosecutor and works with detectives all of the time, maybe I'll just ask him his opinion of their interrogation tactics and get back to you. I'm not really sure what you're trying to prove, and I find it funny that I haven't heard a peep from the media or otherwise who agrees with your conclusion that Anthony got off b/c of a faulty interrogation. Interesting note, huh?

  • @br5060 - you're dwelling on a moot point. The detectives systematically called out her bullshit, piece by piece. Perhaps if Casey wasn't such a pathological liar from day one, they could have gotten something. Detective can only attempt to extract the truth of a crime- they can't perform miracles and they can't force somebody to tell the truth. Perhaps if you spent more of your time coming to this realization, instead of continuing this insane argument, your time will be better served.

  • @br5060 - clearly, you don't really understand. The detectives did as good of a job as they possibly could. If you could, in fact, identify one mistake that they made in the interviewing process, perhaps I would give your argument more merit. But I'm assuming since you know probably less than even I know about interrogation tactics, then once again you're mistaken. Don't point the finger at the detectives here. That's ridiculous and baseless, and I'd like to hear one articulate citation.
