@zhdar muslims oppressed india and kidnapped its wealth. including all of its arts. Besides that they often forcefully tried to convert by the sword. Hardly something to be proud about.

I have met this gentlemen personally and witnessed a fantastic private performance. Seeing the performance live is breath-taking!

Zhdar- Its because hindustani classical music coopted persian Mousiqi traditions.
Many Hindu musicains became muslims due to influence of sufis.Muslims could absorb abstract structures of music , improvise & excel at it, easily. Pl , check-
Ustad Abdul Karim Khan,Faiyaz khan( Darbari Alap-compare with this video),Salamat ali khan ( probably the best in the world ), munshi raziuddin ( geet govind -raag khat ) & you will notice the pure genius....................

This is awesome, mesmerising. I also love how Muslims specialise and indeed excel in what is basically Hindu devotional music. Gives hope and inspiration to all. Please correct me if I have got anything wrong!
