My Wedding Vows

These are the vows I made to my husband during our wedding - 5/24/08.

In case you can't hear them, here's a transcript of what I said:

Adam. You are the most unique, special and wondrous thing I have ever had the pleasure of finding. I have favorite songs, favorite cartoons, favorite colors...but YOU are my favorite human...and within you is my favorite soul.

I knew there was something special about you the moment I laid eyes on you. Within a week of meeting you, I was completely smitten. Within two weeks, I'd fallen madly in love. During week three we were already discussing the names of our future children and 3 months later you asked me to marry you. Because of you, this has been my favorite year.

And I already know that today, come what may, will be my favorite day. Because today, I finally get to call you my husband.

As your wife, I vow to comfort you, support you, nurture you, cherish you, encourage happiness in you, laugh with you, cry with you, raise a family with you, grow old with you and frolic in the cosmos with you.

And most importantly, I vow to love you eternally. Vowing to love you 'Til death do us part' is not enough. So I make you this promise: I will love you, and only you, until death and beyond it. For we both know that death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.

Our souls will meet again after death claims us from this world and I will continue loving you then. My love for you has no boundaries. It is unconditional and infinite.

With this ring, I am trusting you with my love and give all of it to you, freely and completely. I am so incredibly lucky and so incredibly thankful to have you in my life. I love you.
