Here we are - one year pass. Gold just blasted over $1300 an ounce. It truly is the canary in the coal mine.

Who would have thought that we would have a USDX at 87 and gold is at $1200.?
Now watch how high gold goes as the dollar falls back to 75...

The existing system will change, but the people in control are going to create as much havoc as possible to try to prevent it.
Just listen to Bernake threaten that interest rates will "have" to rise if the Federal Reserve is audited. This is merely their way of fighting back.
People in power will destroy are threatening to destroy everything when their power is threatened, and they mean it, it's their only weapon to retain power.

one way or another our existing system is going away. They'll either urn out of tax dollars and leave voluntarily, or they'll be forced out. But they're gonna go.

agreed. To call yourself a rep or dem is pointless. Someone who does this is missing the bigger picture. They are playing the silly game. The only way to win this game is to not play at all. I'd rather have peter schiff next to me holding a pitchfork and a torch protesting than have him run for senate. We need him more on the outside of the govt. For peter to say govt needs to shrink, and then run for it..its going against his beliefs. The real solution is to get rid of govt altogether.

I'm thinking of investing in an underground bunker & canned foods. Is this good?

I don't know if yuan is inflated or not, but the US $ certainly is. Remember about the status of dollar - it's a world currency, when those dollars start to come back home the game is over. Also look at the monetary base which grew enormously in the last 2 years (thnx to mr Bernanke). Do I need to mention budget and trade deficits in US? Anyway you look at it - the dollar is doomed.
