Medications and other interventions will not work if we don't have easily identifiable targets for office practice. Our current diagnostic criteria are predominantly based upon superficial appearances - leaving no specific functional, corrective targets. At CorePsych we know that real people have real problems, and superficial labels do little to address the complexity of ADHD. This brief review may help clarify the functional objectives for working with your medical team. Details do make the difference. Check out ADHD details at ADHD Medication Rules: http://bit.ly/medrules
And do check out my specific CorePsych Blog ADHD Medication Tutorial playlist here at this link: http://bit.ly/medtutr The essence here: 8 linked, sequenced, explanatory videos on exactly why we miss the mark so often with ADHD meds.
If you don't get the ADHD diagnosis right, how can you dial in the meds correctly?

Im doing a paper on ADHD for an ASL II project and I found this very helpful despite the obvious lack of sources and other references to prove his information correct. But still I think that I would trust the information.
