Halt's tape recording from one of the night's of the incident, he clearly says a light is beaming down from the object....You told John Boroughs on a later occasion that the beam Col. Halt saw was a 'star'......WTF? What a pathetic argument. How the hell is a professional military trained individual who was identifying aircrafts in Vietnam going to mistake a star for a beam of light! Your wasting your time you bum.

Seems that Nick Pope is siding with Halt, who claims it was ET, rather than Penniston, the first night's witness who claims it was time travellers from our future. There's now some interesting rivalry between the two as to who has the 'real' answer.
Either way, "outright lie" is legally actionable.
