@RetroJenny Some people have Autism & can remember their whole life including infancy.. Life is about what you remember you don't need to make rules for peoples minds & memories.. You are generally right yes, my cousins born 73-79 were more the 80s kids but we lived all the music & tv together those were my favourite years 1987-1992.. they even forgot it all & I never did.. I wanted the 80s back by 1995 because I hated most most my generation in the 90s.. 80s/90s is my life thanks!

@RetroJenny 1981-2001 is MTV era.. Those years were the best for music videos.. ALL the 80s music videos were still on heavy airplay through the 90s, so were the tv shows & movies.. I don't know anyone born in the 80s (especially born in the first half)who cant identify that decade.. I think anyone knows a lot about the decade they were born in, I think its stupid some people don't.. Born "early 80s" you would have lived the whole decade too.. 8 years old is late childhood
