  • I dont care what disclaimer the dj give for his election, if you have to give disclaimers then obviously the dj knows he is choosing wack titles. 30 plus years of hip hop music, one should be able to simply let an iPod play and the titles would be better than what this dj selects.

Dont forget, music is an inspiration, w/o good inspiration the art (of dance) suffers....

  • @xZEUSo I can agree with you nontheless, but you forget that All-Styles battles aren't about the music selection but more of who can rock the beat. And with that, you have to be able to get music in which everybody (crowd and dancers) can adjust to. Not everybody is going to like the selection that the DJ may play, but can you hit the beat? That's the question...

  • @xZEUSo And to let you know, you contradicted yourself with the whole music statement. How can one say the DJ choose "wack" music if music is supposed to be an inspiration? Nothing is supposed to be wack if it's an inspiration. The DJ gave a disclaimer weeks before the battles started to let people know in advance what will be played. Don't try to judge somebody just because you don't like the music. This makes me assume that you know what all-styles is all about (seeing that you have no vids)

  • @snackz Uh no snacks, I didnt contradict myself. Some music inspires more than others.... pretty sure MJ fans didnt feel the same emotion when they listened to some start-up artist as they did when they listened to MJ.

The DJ wouldve done 10 times better by just playin a GUCCI or Waka cd; heck letting them dance to the radio hip hop station wouldve served better. Less the inspriation (via poor song choice) less the performance (due to know attachment to said song(s)).

  • @xZEUSo Of course some music is going to inspire more than others...not every type of music is for everybody. We all have our preferences. Sometimes, we're not going to like what we hear, but music itself is supposed to be the inspiration no matter what genre it is. You don't have to like it, but love it. Now Gucci or Waka or anything on the radio is considered to be wack in my opinion. Do I like either one of them? HELL NO!! I think it's tearing music apart, but somebody else may feel different

  • Non-stop is Still my Favorite Dancer.

  • good thing jookin can be applied to any style of music. i dunno how any of the jookers lost this but c'est la vie. they still got to show folks what they do regardless of the contest and most likely inspired folks and that is more of a win than what this show was about.

  • @trangmac lol is that how u feel ...? who are you? do u even dance? i find it so funny that people with 0 uploads on their page are so quick to judge and say someone sucks, how much better are they than YOU,someone who wont even show their foot on the dancefloor.

later. BIG UPS TO YOU GNERD!!! NONSTOP
