You do understand that the reason drugs and medical cost are so high is because of Government intervention into the market. To get a drug approved by the FDA cost close to 1 billion dollars and 10 years of time. You can not tell that is a good thing. Face it socialism is nothing but slavery. Just because someone wants to do good doesn't mean they have to be a socialist. Look at Warren Buffet is done and he is as pure as a capitalist you will find.

Websters Dictionary definition of Socialism: means of production and distribution of goods controlled by the government. However, most modern "socialist" countries are actually capitalist. They just tax the hell out of businesses and higher earning individuals. Meanwhile, these "socialists" criticize capitalism, even though they depend on it for money -- like parasites.

While I agree with you that there has been no socialist country, I would like to make a correction to your dictionary definition of socialism: Under real socialism, the means of production and distribution would be democratically controlled by workers (not necessarily "the government")
