You obviously did not see the HUGE graze mark on the side, and the fact that the whole padding part came out of the shell. Try actually LOOKING at the video a bit.

It's not the whole bullet that came back and hit him, probably just the bullet's copper jacket that got stripped off when he shot at something hard (steel plate?). Happens often with all calibres at short ranges when shooting at hard but non-energy absorbing or reactive targets.
