PART TWENTY-ONE OF TWENTY-TWO:
This is a full live performance by the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, filmed at Eugene, Oregon's WOW Hall on 9/30/1993.

This song is "Cherry Poppin' Daddy Strut", one of the first songs ever written by the band, which can be found on their 1990 album 'Ferociously Stoned' and their 1997 compilation 'Zoot Suit Riot'. Following the video is a brief roll of credits, played over the Daddies song "Skyline Drive".

  • I am just wondering why the color is all distorted and why did you remove Mr. white keys

  • I believe the color saturation was intentional. It was a popular video effect in the 90s and was obviously way overdone for this particular show.

As for the other live set, I felt I was uploading too many CPD vids and that the show wasn't as good as the others. I was gonna put up a few songs from it...I'll put up that song, as well.

  • thats when my older brother was born he is 16 now.

  • He is an awesome Sax player!!! In an awesome band!

  • Great stuff. Good memories. It's funny looking back and remembering how most of the people at the shows (at least in Salem) were probably 14-17 y/o. My parents used to drop me off at these shows.

    "What's the band called again?"

    "Uhh... The Daddies..."

And that's just the band name. Most of the songs were much more vulgar... Kids dancing to songs about tits and loveless sex and whatnot.

    Lol, good times!

P.S. Have any old Salem footage?

  • Theyre really good, but their name creeps me the fck out >_>
